Aenert news. Energy Exhibitions & Conferences
Several notable events will take place in the last month of this year. Moreover, this time we tried to cover those that will take place in different parts of the world - in North and South America, Europe, and Asia.
Latin America Unconventional Resources Technology Conference 2023 will be held in early December in Buenos Aires. Argentina is one of the few countries in the world where, in addition to the USA, Canada and China, hydrocarbon production from low-permeability formations has been established. The short list of countries where this was carried out in itself indicates quite complex administrative and technological problems in the production of shale gas and tight oil. In a number of countries, the deployment of this production was stopped due to the increased viscosity of reservoir rocks, in others due to fears of the consequences of seismic manifestations or due to fears of contamination of groundwater with chemicals used in hydraulic fracturing. Therefore, the conference, organized by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG), and the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG), will be of undoubted interest to industry specialists and government representatives.

The conference will, in particular, address such important practical issues as Understanding the Big Picture on Production Forecasting; Reservoir Characterization and Carbon Capture; Production Performance Prediction: Decline Curve Analysis and Beyond; Seismic Imaging and Fracture Characterization; Production and Recovery Potential; Reserves Estimation and Production Forecasting; Geophysical Applications and Reservoir Analysis.

Latin America URTeC 2023, having ten years of experience, has gained serious popularity among representatives of different fields of knowledge and production management, which determines the high effectiveness of this event, primarily due to the integration of different fields of knowledge. To do this, just look at the list of professional representatives of this conference: Executive Management from NOCs, IOCs, and Service Companies; Geoscience, Exploration, and Reservoir Engineering Professionals; Seismic Interpretation and Technology Specialists; Horizontal Drilling and Completion Discipline Engineers; Projects, Facilities, and Construction Experts; Scientists, Technologists, Researchers, and Technicians; Contracts and Procurement Heads; Field Development, Production, and Operations Managers; Transportation and Service Company Providers; Cost Control and Project Managers; Well Log Analysts; Independent Consultants; Economists and Financiers; Ministry and Government Officials.

As usual, following the already established tradition, the hydrogen topic is in the wake of upcoming events, all over the world.

HYDROGEN DIALOGUE 2023 – Summit & Expo will take place on December 6-7 in Nuremberg, Germany. As noted by the organizers in the preamble to this event: “The event promotes the dialogue, knowledge exchange and networking between business, politics and science in order to support the successful ramp-up of the hydrogen economy in Europe.”

The target groups of exhibitors will include: Electrolyzer manufacturers; OEM plant manufacturers; fuel cell manufacturers (stationary and mobile); port and terminal operators • OEM trucks, buses, industrial trucks, ships, railroads; energy suppliers; gas grid operators; refineries; engineering offices; management consulting; hydrogen initiatives; associations.

It is becoming increasingly clear that large-scale expansion of the use of hydrogen technologies requires significant consolidation of efforts from both consumers of this product and manufacturers. Scattered practices, even with successful results, cannot lead to the long-awaited breakthrough of the hydrogen industry in the energy market.

HYDROGEN FUEL CELL 2023 Exhibition and Conference (December 13-14, 2023 Los Angeles, USA) is dedicated to hydrogen fuel cell technologies for transport. Despite the almost universal dominance of electric vehicles in recent years, hydrogen fuel cell vehicles remain in demand primarily in the market for long-haul trucks, which produce the highest greenhouse gas emissions.

Key agenda topics at this event include: Emerging trends of hydrogen and fuel cell electric vehicles; Exploring the challenges and opportunities for FCEV adoption; Innovations in fuel-cell design for enhanced reliability and durability; New manufacturing processes and materials for cost optimization; Latest research and case studies on fuel-cell designs and applications; Upcoming regulations and safety standards for fuel cells.

Participants will be offered the following topics for this exhibition and conference: Equipment Design and Manufacturing, Materials Sourcing and Advisory, Fuel Cell Development, Electrical Components Sourcing, Material Technologies, Catalyst Research, Raw Materials Sourcing, Research and Development, Fuel Cell Manufacturing Technologies, Fuel Cell Weight Reduction, Strategy, Projects, & Public Affairs, Fuel Cell Testing, Cost Reduction Strategies, Legal and Compliance Work, and Fuel Cell Application Engineering.

Another December event, World Hydrogen Latin America, also focused on hydrogen, will take place in Santiago, Chile from December 12-14. Approximately one hundred speakers and 400 participants from twenty countries will gather here to discuss the prospects for the development of the hydrogen industry in Latin America. The main idea of this forum is that Latin America, with its unique natural solar and wind resources, can provide sufficient quantities of clean hydrogen.
