The university has 12 colleges and several campuses where various degrees are offered, for example, in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Energy Systems, Environmental Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering, amongst others. Graz University of Technology is a research university with an educational network and a number of departments in the field of engineering and natural sciences. According to the Shanghai rankings (ARWU), Graz University of Technology is included in the top 700 universities of the world. TU Vienna has eight faculties, this university prepares specialists in the field of grids, geotechnics, water resources and their use as well as hydraulic engineering. The Faculty of Electrical Engineering also offers a wide range of specialties. In the Rankings of world universities QS 2020, Vienna University of Technology is located at 192th place.
