Solar Power

Events calendar. July 2022

July as the hottest summer month is less favourable when it comes to energy industry events compared to June or the spring months. Nevertheless there will be several interesting and exciting exhibitions. The agenda of the conference and exhibition Battery Experts Forum (July 12 - 14, 2022, Messe Frankfurt) is dedicated to one of the most promising and significant tasks of our time – energy storage. Without solving the problems of long-term storage of electricity, including in the form of special chemicals, the large-scale development of renewable energy, the transition to electric transport or the reduction of energy consumption is impossible. There will be around 100 presentations, up to 150 exhibitions with their own products and about 5,000 exhibitors at the forum.

All the main technological and organizational areas that ensure the production of batteries will be represented, e.g. Supplier, Battery and Sell Manufacturer, Charge technology, Manufacturing equipment, Recycling, Raw material supplier, Testing and certification services. Groups related to Associations and Research / Universities / Institutes will also be represented.  Among the various participants represented there will be CEO / President, Technical Lead / Director, Engineering, Development, Purchasing & Procurement, Marketing & Sales.

Perhaps the most important meeting of the energy community for Southeast Asia will be the upcoming VIETNAM’S LARGEST ENERGY EXHIBITION (13-14 JULY 2022, The Adora Convention Centre, Ho Chi Minh City). Today, Vietnam is a dynamically developing country with a population of over one hundred million people. Although Vietnam has substantial reserves of fossil fuels, the energy supplied to the industry and the population is significantly lower than what is required under modern circumstances. Today the country generates about 70% of its electricity from fossil sources, mostly from coal-fired power plants.

Renewable energy sources, excluding hydropower, account for less than 10 percent of power generation. Nevertheless, the country has several relatively large wind farms and solar plants, as well as facilities for waste processing, the production of compressed hydrogen, bioethanol, and pellets.

More than 80 exhibitors will take part in the upcoming exhibition, as well as several sponsors, including such well-known companies as JA Solar, Canadian Solar, Huawei, Hanwha Q Cells, and General Electric. A total of more than 3,000 participants from around the world will present their ideas for energy development in the region, and more than 60 experts will make their presentations. The focus of the exhibition will be on solar power (500+ solar and energy products & solutions, Commercial & Industrial Solar, Utility scale solar, Rooftop Solar), but other topics, such as Power Generation, Grid, Other renewables, will also be presented.

The Green Energy Congress 2022, which will take place on July 18 and 19 in Amsterdam, is primarily an educational platform for the environmental community, where you can get first-hand and professional information about the latest developments in natural resource research and green technology. Promising fields such as Green Processing and Solar Energy, Green Nanotechnology, Waste to Energy, Environmental Chemistry and Pollution will be discussed.

A special place at the congress is given to bioenergy technologies. Among them are those which have already become regular and industrially developed energy technologies, such as Biogas, Biomass Technologies, Production of Biofuels, as well as relatively new ones which are still in the process of refinement – Algae Biofuels, Aviation biofuel, Biohydrogen.

Also, at the plenary sessions one of the most important and quite complex issues in bioenergy, associated with Biomass feedstocks for renewable energy, is going to be discussed.
