Aenert news. Energy Exhibitions & Conferences
One of the most exciting events of the beginning of the current year will probably be The World Future Energy Summit, which will be held from 14 to 16 January at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi. Here, issues of effective transformation of existing and creation of new energy systems for the formation of sustainable energy of the future will be discussed.
Today, the UAE is a live demonstration platform where, despite the presence of significant fossil fuel reserves, technological directions based on renewable energy sources are successfully developing. New technical solutions for the rational use of water, waste disposal, ecological transport and the creation of new eco-cities are being actively implemented.
The summit is essentially a global think tank where innovative ideas flow, global investments are formed and decision makers are united. In addition, the summit includes a wide variety of information formats - thematic exhibitions, specialized conferences and technology presentations, as well as trading platforms.
The summit will be attended by more than 30,000 visitors, 400+ exhibiting companies from 112 countries, 350+ speakers. Among the participants will be such well-known companies as Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), Nextracker LLC, Array Technologies, BYD Auto Industry Company Limited, China National Nuclear Corporation, Chiyoda Corporation, Department of Energy (DOE), EDF Group, Huawei Digital Power Technologies Co., Ltd., International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), JA SOLAR Technology Co., Ltd., Jinko Solar Co., Ltd., Longi Solar Technology Co., Ltd., Mingyang Smart Energy.
Traditionally, The World Future Energy Summit includes several important areas, including Solar Energy, Clean Energy EcoWASTE Water Climate & Environment Smart Cities.
The Solar focus in the photovoltaic segment will be represented by such business sectors as Building Integrated PV (BIPV), Photovoltaic Cells & Modules, PV Mounting Systems, PV Inverters, PV Components, PV Tracking Systems, Rooftop Solar PV Systems, Utility Scale PV Systems. Concentrating solar power (CSP) technologies will also be widely represented, for example, Energy Storage Energy Storage, Linear Fresnel Systems, Parabolic Dish Systems, Parabolic Trough Systems, Power Tower Systems. It should be noted that several large solar stations operate in the UAE, including both photovoltaic ones, for example, Al Dhafra Solar PV, The Noor Abu Dhabi Solar Power Plant, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, each of which has a capacity of more than one GW, and solar stations with concentrators of various types, for example, Shams and Noor Energy.

The Clean Energy program promises to be very rich, where all major energy technologies will be considered through the prism of creating clean energy, including Bioenergy, Carbon Management & Storage (CSS), Energy Storage Technologies, Geothermal Energy, Hydrogen, Hydropower, Nuclear Energy, Oil & Gas, Wind Energy.
Business Sectors at The EcoWASTE Exhibition & Conference will be represented by key organizational and technological segments, including Facilities Management, Industry & Hazardous Waste, Organic Waste, Recycling & Biodegradables, Waste Management Service Providers, Waste-to-Energy, Street Cleaning & Maintenance, Waste Collection Vehicles, Medical Waste, Electronic Waste, Waste Storage, Separation & Processing.
The Water Exhibition & Conference theme is becoming increasingly relevant for many countries around the world, especially for the Arab countries. The Business Sectors here will cover all major technological and administrative segments, such as Water & Wastewater Treatment & Reuse, Water Equipment & Solutions, Irrigation Technologies & Systems, Water Production & Extraction, Water-Energy-Nexus, Water & Sewerage Networks, Desalination Plants & Solutions, Operation & Maintenance Solutions, Independent Water Producers (IWPs), Plant Developers & Operators.
The Climate and Environment focus at the World Future Energy Summit will bring together technology providers, researchers, policymakers, investors, etc., who are united by issues of adaptation to climate change. Air Quality & Pollution, Polluted Sites & Soils, Biodiversity & Ecosystem Preservation, Food & Agriculture, Resilient Infrastructure, Instrumentation, Meteorology & Analysis, Risk Management & Emergency Response, Sustainable Finance, Decarbonisation Solutions & Technologies are some of the wide range of issues that will be considered at this summit platform.

Finally, The Smart Cities zone will showcase solutions for the cities of the future. Often, these solutions will be accompanied by illustrative practical examples, as in the case of Masdar City, a model city of the future located near Abu Dhabi.
The World Future Energy Summit in Abu Dhabi is hosted by Masdar. The summit is recognized worldwide as the leading business event dedicated to future energy and sustainable development. Not least, World Future Energy runs on 100% clean energy, provided by the Emirates Water and Electricity Authority (EWEC).
