Aenert news. Energy Exhibitions & Conferences
Energy supply challenges are becoming increasingly urgent in various regions of the world. The new year could be decisive in terms of restarting necessary investments in oil and gas infrastructure and the large-scale reorientation of energy resource flows. No less important will be the expansion of renewable energy activity. In this regard, the upcoming events in the form of conferences, exhibitions or workshops in 2023 are indispensable tools for providing information on the latest developments in the energy sector.

The next Intersolar and Energy Storage North America event will take place in California in mid-January. According to statistics from the International Renewable Energy Agency Irena, North America accounts for 12.4% of installed solar converter capacity at the end of 2021, which produced 137,703 GWh of electricity a year earlier. However, it is clear that the high levels of solar activity in some areas of the U.S. and Mexico allow for a significant increase in these indicators.

More than 6,000 professionals will participate in Long Beach's upcoming Expo and Conference, showcasing developments and practical recommendations in solar technology, photovoltaic installation and maintenance, energy storage, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, electrification and clean hydrogen production. Exhibitors at this event will include Final Decision-Makers, Direct Buyer, Recommend Products or Services, Research and Present Options to Company Leaders. Over 300 exhibits will be presented at the show. The main conference program focuses on "Climate Solutions Start Here: Solar + Storage Lead the Way."

The World Future Energy Summit will take place on January 16-18th in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. According to the organizers, the summit is expected to be attended by over 34,000 visitors from 125 countries, with a global reach of over 100,000 stakeholders from 206 countries. The six thematic exhibitions will feature more than 840 global suppliers in solar, renewable energy, water efficiency, sustainable waste management, smart cities and climate change. At five industry forums, more than 300 renowned experts will present more than 200 sessions on the latest trends and market opportunities. The Climate & Environment Expo & Forum is the main theme of these events. Attendees at the summit will include buyers from government agencies, utilities, oil&gas and nuclear agencies, developers and prime contractors from the Middle East, and Africa. Technology topics include Waste to Energy, Building Integrated PV (BIPV), Photovoltaic Cells & Modules, PV Components (Cables, Connectors, PV Inverters, PV Mounting Systems, PV Tracking Systems, Recycling & Biodegradables, EcoWaste.

The list of January events in the fossil fuel industry includes the next SPE Hydraulic Fracturing Technology Conference and Exhibition, which begins in late January in the Woodlands, an isolated area of Texas in the USA. Hydraulic fracturing technology has been the subject of numerous publications, videos, and studies. On the one hand, this technology is announced as a "shale revolution," on the other hand it is subject to massive criticism coming from environmental organizations. Today, however, it can be confidently stated that the application of hydraulic fracturing technology has contributed to a significant increase in oil and gas production, primarily in the United States, without which the energy supply of the world economy would be difficult at present. Many industry professionals will participate in this event – TechnipFMC, ChampionX, Dragon Products, Evonik Corp, as well as Halliburton, the recognized leader in this field. Current issues of modern fracking production will be covered here, including Drilling, Downhole Equipment, Well Completion, Wellbore Equipment, Exploration & Production, Offshore Well Equipment/Services, Production, Subsurface, Chemicals, FluidsMaterials, Separation systems, Tubulars & Piping, Centrifugal Pumps, Mud Pumps, Oil & Gas Transport, Production Equipment/Services, Stimulation. According to the statistics of previous similar events, 30% of attendees are engineers, 15% present sales and marketings, 13% – managers, 10% – executives, and 4% are students.
